Prices are not always uniform throughout a sale or season, so Post-Dated Price Changes are available on the CAS. Using the CAS interface, users can enter a price change, modify tax rates or embed a discount rate to an item and set an effective date for the changes to take place. The changes will be in effect when the local time on the client matches the CAS defined time. This feature has been used for setting price change updates for seasonal items and managing price changes for advertised sales.
